Notre manchon UltraSeal Liner est doté d’une bande d’étanchéité unique qui garantit un maintien sûr – disponible en deux hauteurs différentes. OptiSil présente une surface intérieure douce qui épouse les contours du membre résiduel, amortissant et réduisant le frottement et l’irritation. Le tissu extérieur de qualité supérieure limite l’étirement excessif et le pistonnement. Le manchon UltraSeal Liner d’ALPS est disponible à la fois pour les personnes amputés au-dessus du genou (AK) et au-dessous du genou (BK).

Quand Massimo avait 9 ans, on lui a diagnostiqué un ostéosarcome au talon gauche et un mois plus tard il a été décidé que le membre devait être amputé immédiatement. Malgré cela, il a consacré beaucoup de temps à des sports comme la course et le para-rafting En 2018 il a gagné le Championnat italien en 60 mètres et 200 mètres en salle et a été contacté par la Fédération italienne de rafting. Le sport a toujours été fondamental dans sa vie. C’est ce qui l’a sauvé, lui permettant de s’intégrer et de se sentir comme tout le monde.

Robert Rodriguez
Robert Rodriguez est né avec une anomalie congénitale appelée hémimélie fibulaire. Alors qu’il avait dix mois, sa mère a été confrontée au difficile choix de lui faire amputer la jambe. Elle n’était pas sûre de prendre la bonne décision pour son fils, mais Robert lui en est reconnaissant. Parce qu’il a été amputé et porte une prothèse, il est fier de montrer aux autres que lui et toutes les personnes amputées sont capables des mêmes choses que n’importe quelle personne valide. Aujourd’hui, Robert est père, mari, conférencier motivateur et athlète. Il concourt au sein de l’équipe d’élite de paratriathlon et de l’équipe de football paralympique des États-Unis. Les épreuves que Robert a dû surmonter étant jeune homme, sur les plans physique et mental, lui ont appris à toujours aller de l’avant, quelle que soit la situation. Au cours de ses expériences, il a appris que les choses ne vont pas toujours aussi mal qu’on le pense et que la réussite est à portée de main si on poursuit ses efforts.

Daniela Pecinová
Daniela a perdu sa jambe droite après qu’une tumeur a été découverte, alors qu’elle avait 16 ans. Aujourd’hui, Daniela prouve combien elle est combattive. Après avoir commencé le pole dance – pour personnes handicapées – elle est devenue championne du monde en 2016. Les manchons ALPS lui permettent de porter sa prothèse toute la journée, de sorte que Daniela est à l’aise pour mener ses activités quotidiennes.
